Quantity Surveyor – Norway
Long term permanent role in the Nordics with in country office and backup – would suit either a QS who wants to try something different and live in another country full time or a candidate who wants to fly in /out. Very progressive company based in the Nordics.

OUR CLIENT:

Our client is an International Main Contractor with multiple projects in the Nordics. They are heavily involved in the construction of Data Centres which they build as a complete package from enabling/civil works through structural build, M&E installation, and commissioning to final client handover.

They currently require a QS for a long-term Data Centre project in Norway

Regular flights, accommodation and other allowances will be provided.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for measuring work packages from drawings and applying rates to work up package pricing.

• Manage the project budget as directed by the Project Director.

• Manage relevant client communications.

• Compile monthly reports in accordance with procedure.

• Attend monthly commercial and subcontractor meetings.

• Resolve client/subcontractor disputes effectively.

• Timely submission of claims/notices in accordance with contract provisions.

• Document cost changes to the work scopes and prepare monthly valuations and final accounts.

Requirements

• 6 + years’ experience in a similar role.

• Bachelor's degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying.

• Excellent organisation, communication, and time management skills.

• Attention to detail and analytically proficient.

• Data Centre experience is advantageous.
