Senior Construction Manager

Office Location: Kildare

Our client is a leading international Main Contractor with offices in several European countries and North America.
Involved in heavy industrial, manufacturing and Data Centre sectors they are currently investing in Preconstruction/Preliminary handover department, independently run with a responsibility for all Data Centre projects in Mainland Europe.
You will report to a Pre-construction Director and work alongside planners, logistics personnel, design managers, and civil/|Mech/Elec engineers prioritising the standardization of DC design/preconstruction activities up to early-stage project delivery.

Responsibilities:
Review and understand, communicate client ER’s
Lead successful completion of preconstruction project handover to delivery teams in line with company requirements
Lead & manager wider team members associated with relevant projects.
Attend client meetings and report to leadership team
Prepare and evaluate the critical elements of the project PCS
Ensure all planning and permitting approvals and documents are in place to enable project commencement as per agreed schedule
Lead handover workshops from preconstruction team to delivery team and ensure all aspects of the project are communicated and understood.

Requirements
4rd level qualification in engineering or construction related equivalent
On site delivery and construction experience essential with Dc experience advantageous
Process driven with strong relationships skills
Strong people and client relationship attributes
Self-motivated and works off own initiative
Strong communication skills
Strong delegation and planning skills with a team environment.
