                                          Junior/Assistant Project Manager

Our client is a boutique, progressive and creative Dublin based commercial property development company with a number of exciting projects underway and fixed and firm plan over the next 5 years to continue their development.

They are seeking to engage a junior/assistant project manager to join their team and work alongside a Development Director on several ongoing projects in Dublin.

You will be engaged initially on the refurb of landmark building into a best-in-class serviced office space. The existing site is in excess of 40,000 sq. feet, divided into interconnecting Georgian buildings and challenge is to develop this space into a serviced office space combining premium workspaces along with amenities not usually available to occupants of Georgian buildings.
As the role progresses you will be involved in other similar type projects in the Dublin commercial property market

Duties:

Dealing with main contractors or sub contractors depending on the procurement route of a particular project.
Coordination of contractors and sub contractors
Preparing measures and works packages for procurement or valuation purposes.
Preparation of material lists and ordering of materials for direct trades.
Checking and recording deliveries to site.
Requesting and reviewing contractor's / sub contractors safety documentation.
Requesting and reviewing contractor's / sub contractors insurance documentation.
Preparing and monitoring project programmes.
Monitoring of various works and maintaining a site diary.
Preparation of snag lists and communication of snag lists to relevant contractors / sub contractors.
Liaising with Design Teams and management of information flow.
Preparation of project queries / RFIs
Reviewing contractors / subcontractors RFIs / obtaining satifactory responses and communication of responses back to contractor / subcontractor
Liaising with all stakeholders in a professional manner.
Attending meetings and preparation of project reports.
Reviewing, checking invoices and matching invoices to delivery dockets

Requirements:
Degree qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying
1 - 3 years experience in construction or development
Excellent oral/written communication and IT skills
Good knowledge of construction and building regulations
Ability to work as part of a team
